Went over and picked out the Walnut for the top today.  Ripped it all down - it's been glued and joined here. (plate joiner)  Got it clamped 8 ways to Sunday here - LOL.  There is a piece of 3/4" plywood with plastic in between that it's clamped to for now.  Will let it dry up for a few days just to make sure before I start to cut, fit and route the edges.
